It’s time to run for ASB and class offices! ASB elections will be April 3rd. Anyone wanting to run for ASB can pick up an application from Mr. Steele in DTEC 405 or Ms. Larson in ST208. Applications are due March 22nd. Class elections will be April 10th. Anyone wanting to run for next year’s senior, junior, or sophomore class officer positions please pick up an application from Mr. Steele in DTEC 405 or Ms. Larson in ST208. The LHS volleyball team is putting on a powder puff volleyball game. The game will be played on March 18th at 630 in the main gym. Admission will be $5, and you can pay with cash or Venmo. Make sure to come support the volleyball team and cheer on the junior and senior boys.


Attention all sophomores and juniors – do you have what it takes to be part of next year’s Link Crew?! We are looking for student leaders to step up and be an important part of our Bengal culture. Scan the QR Codes from one of the Link Crew posters around school to sign up. Applications are due before spring break. Seniors, don’t forget to get onto your Google Class of 2024, submit your 7th semester transcripts, and confirm your name for your diploma in the main office. U of I will be here today, and LCSC will be here on the 20th. Be sure to sign up in the career center to go over final steps.


Juniors, Higher Ed Day is this Friday, March 15th. Be sure to go into your Class of 2025 and complete your StriveScan registration before then.


VALS and SALS, remember to submit your second senior picture and your senior quote as soon as possible. We are missing these from  Ella Bruck, Keith Evans, Mariah Valenta, Kale Wilponen, and Sayler Coterel. 


On March 20, a Fire Science & EMT instructor from LCSC will be here to talk more about the program. Sign up in the counseling center if you want to learn more about how to be a certified firefighter and EMT and on state benefits in just two years.
