Last weekend the Bengal wrestlers competed at the IHSAA state championships. Both the boys and the girls teams doubled their medal counts from last year. On the girls team Emma Rivera took 6th and Joely Slyter took 2nd. On the boys team Gunnar Whitlock took 6th, Brice Cuthberth took 5th, Jase Hendren took 3rd and Hoyt Hvass successfully defended his titles to become a 3-time state champion. Congratulations Bengals!
