Today for lunch there is biscuits and gravy, mini corn dogs, pepperoni ripper, and a hamburger bar.


The second annual DeAtley Career Fair is coming on February 28th from 6 to 8pm in the DeAtley Center. Mark your calendar. We have over fifty vendors currently participating and more coming. Don’t miss this event full of giveaways, employment opportunities, internships, apprenticeships and more.


The GSA will be hosting its 4th Annual Mario Kart tournament today at 3:00pm. There will be a $2 entry fee, and contestants can sign up in Mr. Farnes room CW 100 at any time. The top three winners will take home a basket of goodies. First and second place winners will also receive a cash prize! Lets – a – go have some fun at the mario kart tournament.


The LHS varsity cheer team is off to state! The competition will be held on Saturday, February 24 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa Idaho. Make sure you congratulate this team for making it to the state competition once again!


Over the last few days the wrestling team competed in the District 1-2 wrestling tournaments. Both the boys and girls teams placed 3rd in their respective tournaments. The following people will compete in the IHSAA Wrestling State Championships on Friday and Saturday in Pocatello: Joely Slyter, Kamryn Lockart, Emma Rivera, Brody Lynch, Coen Roberts, Hoyt Hvass, Jase Hendren, Gunnar Whitlock, Mason Faling, Cole Lockart, Brice Cuthbert, King David Rhodes, and James Gibbs. Good luck Bengals!


The following students have been selected as Bengal Way Students for the month of January: Anna Anderson, Malley Geary, Kaitlyn Johnson, Dylana Lynch, Kamden Mael, Olivia Mizerka, Kendyl Nesbitt, Judah Pelletier, Kayelynn Phelps, and Lucas Wisman. Congratulations everyone!


Tomorrow in the LHS Auditorium, keynote speaker Luri Melo will come and speak about navigating difficult conversations with your students. The doors open at 5:30 at the presentation will start at 6. We hope to see you there!


Hey Lewiston Bengals, we want to remind you of the Nez Perce language club tomorrow. It will be immediately after school in the Library computer lab. All are welcome regardless of language experience or membership of the Nez Perce language class. Those that are part of the Nez Perce language class are encouraged to com. Extra credit will be given for presence, as well as completeing homework for the class. We would love to see you there. 


Are you interested in playing baseball this spring? Junior varsity and varsity tryouts will be on the 23rd at 3:15, the 24th at 12:00, and the 26th at 3:15 at Airport Park. All of these will be held at Church Field. With Freshman tryouts being held on the 23rd at 3pm at Airport park, the 24th at 10:30 at Church Field, and the 26th at 3:00 at Airport Park. Show up if you’re interested. Also hit up Darren Trainor for a beanie. They cost $20 each and the profits help cover baseball finances.


Seniors are required to report to the auditorium for Bengal Block tomorrow.


Contrary to popular belief, track practice is at 3pm at Volmer Bowl on friday.
