Sign into Firefox

  • Welcome!
  • Click your hamburger button. Click Sign in to Firefox.
  • Click Sign in to Firefox again.
You sign in with your lewiston school email. It autogenerates a password – you can go with that password or type in one of your own.
  • If you’re missing stuff on the top….
  • Right click on the top and select Menu Bar
  • That will display these at the top.

Firefox also wants to start saving your passwords and generating passwords for you. If this is not something you want, here is how you turn it off.

Click the Hamburger again and go to Logins and Passwords.
If you have passwords saved they will appear here. You can add, edit, or delete. Click the eplisis and go to options.
Under Options you will find this. If you don’t want Firefox to save your passwords, unclick the option. If you don’t want Firefox to suggest passwords, unclick the option. Lockwise is a decent password manager. If you do decide to save passwords here, use a master password to keep them secure.
