STEM career night @ LHS for students & families

ANNOUNCING STEM CAREER NIGHT FOR AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES
Dear Students, Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
It is my pleasure to personally invite your son and/or daughter to a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Career Night to be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lewiston High School. We will gather in the science building to interact with a variety of STEM professionals from around the region. The STEM professionals are excited to discuss their profession and answer any questions you might have about STEM careers. Our guest professionals include engineers, wildlife management specialists, computer program developers and healthcare professionals. We are most excited to offer interactive demonstrations using current technology where you get to experience hands-on activities! This evening is hosted by the LHS science club and includes dinner for you and your family.
STEM occupations are actively promoted by many federal agencies, such as the National Science Foundation, and are viewed as having some of the best opportunities for job growth in the future.
