On Monday, April 8, 2024 there will be a solar eclipse. Our area will experience this partial solar eclipse between 10:36 a.m. – 12:32 p.m. Our schools are talking to students about the eclipse and how to enjoy it safely.
Please help us to ensure student safety by reminding your child not to look directly at the sun without proper eye protection, even during partial phases of the eclipse. The sun’s UV radiation can cause irreversible damage in just seconds.
