Amy Kronemann!
For 20 years, this teacher has been shaping young minds, building confidence,
and creating classrooms where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn.
She’s taught first grade. She’s taught third grade.
She’s coached volleyball. She’s coached basketball.
And through it all, she’s taught her students how to work hard,
stay humble when they win,
and never give up when they lose.
Her teaching partner of nine years calls her the “go-to person” for just about everything:
✔ Need a strategy for a tricky lesson? Ask Amy.
✔ Need advice on student behavior? Ask Amy.
✔ Need perspective to keep going? Ask Amy.
As a PLC Lead, she brings educators together, shares best practices,
and makes sure no teacher feels like they’re in this work alone.
Her leadership is steady. Her kindness is constant.
And her dedication—to her students, her colleagues, and her school—runs deep.
For two decades, she has made learning meaningful, built strong relationships,
and raised the bar for excellence across our district.
Today, we celebrate not just her years of service,
but the way she’s shaped lives—in the classroom, on the court, and throughout Lewiston schools.

Jenifer Middle School • Band & Choir Teacher
Some teachers teach a subject.
But some teachers teach so much more.
At Jenifer Middle School, there’s a teacher who doesn’t just fill her room with music—
she fills it with joy, encouragement,
and the kind of support that can turn an entire day around.
Her students say she makes class fun.
That she’s positive, uplifting, and always ready to brighten someone’s world.
If a student feels overwhelmed—she notices.
If a friend is having a bad day—she makes space for them to breathe, to talk, to feel safe.
She’s the one who gets up early (yes, early!) to lead Jazz Band.
She’s the one who takes a budget that’s too small,
resources that are too few,
and still builds a music program that inspires and connects students to something bigger than themselves.
In her classroom, kids don’t just learn the notes—
they feel the music.
They share it.
They love it.
Her students call her “the best teacher in the world.”
And today, we proudly call her…
