McSorley Elementary loves their school lunch heroes!

Webster Elementary students were celebrated for exhibiting cooperation!










Tammany High School won 2 bronze and 2 silver medals. at FCCLA. Alora Alexander, Brenden Lessor, Eliza Nick and Kaylee Collins all had very tough competition this year with nearly 50 other competitors (combined amount in 4 different events). It's the biggest turnout in years! They were all very proud, represented Tammany well, and had a great experience.


Jenifer Middle School Young Living students presented the quilt they made to Mrs. JoAnne Greear at Monday night’s school board meeting. Mrs. Greear is currently the Lewiston School District Director of Operations. When this year’s 8th graders were in 6th grade, Mrs. Greear was their principal at JMS.

Yesterday was National School Principals' Day! Thank you to all of the incredible principals in the Lewiston School District!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to all of the hard-working staff who plan, prepare, and serve meals to our students!

7th grade gifted and talented classes at Sacajawea Middle School have been working on a variety of forensic careers. This has even included each student's own hands as they had SRO Chris Smith join them to demonstrate how to pull up and identify fingerprints to become more aware of the occupation of Fingerprint Analysts.
They have already looked into Crime Scene Analysts, and will soon delve into Arson Analysts!
Career possibilities are so interesting!




Whitman Elementary's April Character Kid Assembly was held last Friday. Students were recognized by their classmates for demonstrating cooperation! They also enjoyed the Whitman Choir singing their school song.



Tammany High School recognized Trevin Hoene, Trinity Smith and Aidan Cash (not pictured) for modeling our core values of TRUST, HONOR AND SUPPORT! WELL DONE!!

Bill Scharnhorst-Local GNC business owner & LHS Grad gives back to his community in many ways. Each year, Bill speaks with the LHS weight training students about nutrition and training and inspires them to take their fitness & wellness to the next level. Thank you Bill

The Lewiston Indian Education Parent Committee held a powwow to recognize and honor the LHS graduating class of 2025! Students were presented with stoles as well as a Nimiipuu dictionary.

McSorley Elementary staff puts on a “We Love Our Students” event once a month to boost morale and promote teamwork across grade levels. Thank you to Mrs. Valerie Schatz and the McSorley PBIS team for organizing this great event!










Whitman Elementary students enjoying some reading buddies— matching up a younger reader with an older reader!








Students in Mrs. Bramlet's and Mrs. Spears's Transitions classes had community businesses conduct mock interviews. Businesses included My Mechanic, Salvation Army, Voc Rehab, Blue Ribbon and Fur Family Cinema. LHS staff Devon McNare, Kiernan Garcia and counselor intern Daisy Bower also participated.


Whitman Elementary staff enjoyed donuts and coffee from the Twin County United Way Campaign!



Mrs. Dominy's fourth grade class from Centennial Elementary went on their Idaho history trip upriver into Hells Canyon on Monday!
