The Lewiston Independent School District #1 is seeking substitute teachers and instructional assistants to join us in moving students toward success. We believe that students are the center of the educational process and invite you to learn more about becoming a substitute in the District.
- Substitute Teachers:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and possess 32 credits post high school education or be certified as a para-professional; contact us for more information about becoming certified as a paraprofessional.
- Wage: $125.00-140.00 per day depending upon qualifications:
- $125.00: Thirty-two (32) credits post high school education or paraprofessional certification
- $130.00: Possess a bachelors’ degree
- $140.00: Possess an unexpired teaching certificate or expired teaching certificate with at least 5 years of teaching experience ·
- Substitute Instructional Assistants:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- $12.59 per hour
