INFORMATION FOR 2024 GRADUATES!
- The Tammany Graduation Commencement will be Friday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel (621 21st St; formally Red Lion) in the Seaport Ballroom. Doors for the public will open at 5:30. Graduates need to be at the hotel by 5:30! Each graduate will be given 8 tickets for graduation. If you need additional tickets, call the Tammany office (208-748-3270) to be added to a list for unclaimed tickets. Tickets will be handed out the week of May 20.
- Please remind your graduate to submit their senior quote, graduation song, and pictures (must be school appropriate) to the Google Classroom for the THS graduating class of 2024. The class code is hk7wuas (case sensitive).
- Tammany has caps & gowns students can borrow for graduation. To reserve a cap & gown, the student needs to bring $30 check or cash to the office; this will be refunded when the items are returned after graduation. Cap & gowns are limited to borrow; so do not wait to reserve. If you would like to purchase your own cap/gown/tassel ($30), go to https://directgrad.com. The deadline to purchase through the company is April 12. You can also order a single tassel ($10), if you want one for a keepsake.
- If you are borrowing a cap & gown, those will be handed out the week of May 20; along with graduation tickets & picture packets.
- Graduates last day of school will be Thursday, May 30. There is a graduation practice at 10 a.m. in the THS gym. This is a full school day; unless the student chooses to do the Elementary Walk (see below).
- The Elementary Walk for graduates is May 30 around 2:00. The details have not been finalized, but as I receive information, I will include it in the Tammany bulletin and the school’s Facebook page. So if your student is interested in walking through their elementary school with their graduating class, watch for updates.
- Ridinger’s Photography will be taking pictures of the graduates receiving their diplomas. Picture packets will be handed out the week of May 20 and also be available at graduation.
- If you need your final transcript sent to a college, let Brandee in the office know.
- Tammany graduates are strongly encouraged to participate in the Lewiston/Tammany Safe & Sober Graduation Party. The party will be Saturday, June 1; starting at 8:00 pm at the NPC Fairgrounds. Tickets go on sale ($10) the beginning of May in the Tammany office. This is fun event for graduates with games, amazing prizes, raffles, refreshments, and entertainment. - Graduates will be handed an empty diploma cover at commencement. If your student has no fines, they can pick up their diploma at Tammany on Monday, June 3. All fines need to be cleared before receiving their diploma (past lunch & books fines paid, and borrowed cap & gown returned). Enclosed with this letter are fines your student has up to this point (that have been sent to THS). Books can be returned and fines paid off at the Tammany office.
- As in years past, a picture of the graduate will be posted on the school wall. I will use the picture uploaded to the google classroom. If no picture is received, the picture in PS will be used.
