Senior project presentation day!
Lewiston High School seniors recently presented their senior projects to staff, parents, and community members. We are proud of the hard work these students put in, and we want to give a special thank you to LHS senior ELA teachers and library staff for supporting students through this major graduation requirement.
Great job, Bengals! 🐅

Orchards Elementary third graders had the chance to learn braille today with the help of Cynda Hyndman and Gayle Worthington. It was an amazing hands-on look at another way people communicate, and such a powerful real-life learning experience for students. We are grateful that students in our district get opportunities like this!

Jenifer Middle School Art students were inspired by the book “If Picasso Painted a Snowman” by Amy and Greg Newbold. They learned about different artists and then designed a snowman influenced by that artist’s work.

Reminder, tomorrow is an early release day for students. Staff will use this time for professional learning focused on ensuring high levels of learning for ALL students!

Tammany High School students of the week from last week! Kahleigh C. and David P! Great job showing THS values!

McGhee Elementary fifth-graders wrapped up their study of Native American cultures and regions by sharing their research and insights with students from other grades. Such a great way to learn from each other!

Miss Rachael and Miss Kendra’s 7th grade art classes at Sacajawea Middle School brought their creativity to life by designing their own puppets, so of course they had to put on a puppet show to show them off!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Lewiston School District!

Mr. Booth’s G/T class at Camelot Elementary celebrated international dishes while studying countries around the world. Students chose to dress up to represent their selected country or bring a dish from that culture. Such a fun and tasty way to learn!
We will see our students again on Monday, December 1st! Have a nice break!

LHS kicked off the Red Kettle season with a big win, bringing home the Golden Kettle at the Salvation Army’s annual event! 🏆🎉 They earned the top spot by collecting the most support during the friendly competition against Clarkston High School.
A huge thank you to the LHS Leadership students who donated their time and represented our school with pride: Brody, Luka, Adi, Ella, Makenna, and Raegan.
The event included an ugly sweater contest, a potato bar dinner, a silent auction, and activities that all helped raise funds for programs supporting families across the LC Valley.

McSorley Elementary's “Under the Sea” Book Fair was a huge success!
The school’s PTA worked hard to bring this event to life, and families enjoyed a fun night. It’s always great to see our school communities come together! 🌊📚
