Tammany High School will develop and inspire life-long learners and empowered graduates!

SPECIAL DAY May 3rd is National School Lunch Hero Day, a day to celebrate the school food service staff preparing and serving meals to students and staff. Tammany has the VERY BEST; so be sure to tell Vicki how much we appreciate her!!!


DONUTS FOR SCHOLARS 45 donuts last week. Can we break the 50 mark this week?


ATTENDANCE BLITZ The week of April 29- May 3, Tammany is hosting an Attendance Blitz! If Tammany reaches 88 percent in attendance all week, there will be a school wide assembly full of prizes, games and a good time to be had by all. To be entered into the prize pool and earn the assembly, students must have:

NO ABSENCES excused or unexcused

NO TARDIES not even one minute late

Remain at school ALL day


EARLY RELEASE Wednesday, May 8, is an early release day. The bus will leave at 12:25.


2024 SUMMER SCHOOL Mrs. Slyter will be talking to students individually that may need summer school this year. The summer session will run from June 17 through August 1. 30 school days for a full credit. There is an opportunity to earn up to 4 credits. There is no cost for summer classes.


PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES Parent/Teacher conferences for quarter 4 will be Wednesday, May 1 from 5:00-7:00 PM.

LOST & FOUND There have been numerous items turned into lost and found lately (rings, single earpod, lock). Stop by the office if you are missing something. I just might have it!


FOOD PANTRY Please feel free to check out Tammany’s Food Pantry. It is loaded with canned fruits, veggies, sauces, frozen food, chips, cereal and much more. If you are ever in need of food please reach out to Tina or Brandee.


TESTING Spring means student testing in school. Testing will begin for Sophomores April 30 and for Juniors May 9. These are important tests; so please get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and be prepared to do your very best.

LHS JR/SR PROM Prom is May 4 from 7-10 pm at LHS. Cost is $10/pp or $15/couple. You can purchase tickets at the door. Ridingers will be taking pictures. Prom is for Juniors and Seniors (Freshman and Sophomores can go as dates).

LHS SPRING FLING LHS Spring Fling dance is May 3 from 7-10 pm at LHS. This dance is for Freshman and Sophomores (Junior and Seniors can go as dates). Tickets are $10/pp or $15/couple. Ridingers will be taking pictures.


DANCE GUESTS If you would like to invite a non LHS/THS guest to Prom or Spring Fling, they must be approved by the Administration. A form can be picked up in the THS office. It must be signed and returned at least 3 days before the dance.


GRADUATES Please remind your graduate to submit their senior quote, graduation song, future plans and pictures (must be school appropriate) to the Google Classroom for the THS graduating class of 2024. The class code is mis7x4b (case sensitive).


CAP & GOWN:  THS has caps & gowns students can borrow for graduation. To reserve a cap & gown, the student needs to bring $30 check or cash to the office; this will be refunded when the items are returned after graduation. Cap & gowns are limited to borrow; so do not wait to reserve. If you would like to purchase your own cap/gown/tassel ($30), go to https://directgrad.com. The deadline has passed, but you can still purchase with a late fee. You can also order a single tassel ($10), if you want one for a keepsake.


DYW:  Distinguished Young Women is May 11 at 6:00.


SENIORS GOODBYE WALK The Seniors goodbye walk through the middle schools and elementaries is May 30 at 2:00.


SENIOR PROJECT HOURS Seniors needing to finish up senior project hours will be helping at the Idaho Food Bank on May 15 from 9:20-2:30. A list of students will be sent out prior to that date.

JUNIORS HEADS UP! Incoming seniors for the 2024-2025 school year need to have their 2nd Meningococcal vaccination by the start of the school year. This is a STATE requirement.


SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to children, ages 1 to 18. This starts June 10 and runs through August 9. The program sites are McGhee Elementary (lunch only), Jenifer Middle School (lunch only) and Sac Middle School (both breakfast and lunch).
