Welcome to Independent School District #1 Driver Education 

Below you will find steps 1-4 that need to be taking to enroll into Driver Education. please review and follow each step in order carefully. Driver Ed Classes are first come first serve. Your student(s) MUST be 14 1/2 to enroll into Drivers Ed.

Step 1: Student must obtain a Driver Education Eligibility form that needs to be signed and completed verifying the student is in good standing with their grades, lunch account, library account and all other miscellaneous fines within the school district. Your student can obtain this form from their schools secretary or print using this link: Driver Education Eligibility Form

Step 2: Student must return the signed and complete Driver Eligibility Form to their schools office. Your student will then receive a Verification of Compliance Form and the Registration for Driver Education Program with the Independent School District form needed by the Driver Licensing Dept. to purchase their permit.

Step 3: Once your student has their Verification of Compliance form and the Registration for Driver Education Program form, contact the Driver Licensing Dept. to schedule an appointment to purchase a permit by calling 208-799-3138 or online at www.co.nezperce.id.us.

Step 4: After purchasing your students permit, please view the Class Option List to determine which in-person driver ed class you would like your student to be enrolled in. You will then complete the Driver Education Enrollment Form and return it with payment to the District Office located at 3317 12th St (check or exact cash only).
