Delta Dental of Idaho

Annual Open Enrollment:  The Districts Annual Open Enrollment Period for Health, Vision and Dental Insurance is Monday, August 3, 2026 through Friday, September 25, 2026 for an effective date of September 1, 2026.  Enrollment Applications are located on the Health Plan tab.

Delta Dental of Idaho continues to be one of the District’s dental plan carriers.

PPO PROVIDER VERSES PREMIER PROVIDER: If you see a PPO Provider the plan covers 100% of diagnostic and preventative services, 80% of basic services and 60% of major services and implants. There is a $25 deductible per person and a $75 deductible per family per calendar year. Maximum Benefit $1,250 per calendar year.

If you see a Premier Provider the plan covers 80% of diagnostic and preventative service, 70% of basic services and 40% of major services & implants. There is a $25 deductible per person and a $75 deductible per family per calendar year. Maximum Benefit $1,000 per calendar year.

Value-Added Orthodontic Discount Program: Delta Dental of Idaho subscribers and their eligible dependents can receive a discounted fee for adult and children orthodontia treatment if they obtain services from a Delta Dental Discount Program orthodontist in Idaho. This value-added service is not insurance. Please see below for more information.

Willamette Direct (formerly known as Dental Blue Connect through Blue Cross of Idaho)

Willamette Direct

Willamette Dental will remain another option for your dental insurance. However effective 09/01/2026 the District moved from Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI) Statewide Schools (SWS) Willamette Dental to Willamette Direct. Current Willamette employees will be rolled into the new plan from Blue Cross Dental Blue Connect to Willamette.

There is no annual maximum and no deductible. Instead of a deductible, you will be required to pay co-pays for services provided

Willamette Direct offers Comprehensive Orthodontic Services (Braces) with a co-pay of $2,200.

Willamette dental office is in Pullman, Washington. At this time, there are no local offices.
