Students from Lewiston High School’s new Garden Club worked together learning and building their own garden boxes to start their garden at the school. They want to give a huge thank you to Mr. Stuart Johnson for giving time, construction materials, and sharing his knowledge! At a recent school board meeting, LHS Foods 2 students prepared crème brûlée for board members. While making the dessert, they learned how to use a kitchen torch and what a ramekin is. In the Foods 2 class, students explore the cuisines of various countries, learning how regional demographics, culture, and religious beliefs influence the foods people eat.
Students from Sacajawea Middle School and Lewiston High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapters were among the nearly 7,000 attendees representing almost 800 school chapters who attended the 2025 BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, May 7-11.
While in Orlando, students vied for top honors in BPA’s Workplace Skill Assessment Program competitions, which cover the areas of business administration; digital communication and design; finance; health administration; information technology; and management, marketing and communication.
The students from the Sacajawea Middle School BPA chapter who attended the National Leadership Conference were: Sydney Bagley and Hayden Smith.
Not only was this the first time Idaho has had a middle school chapter compete at the national level but both students were also finalists and called onto the stage.

Sydney Bagley placed 3rd in Entrepreneurship Exploration and 2nd in Extemporaneous Speech
The students from the Lewiston High School BPA chapter who attended the National Leadership Conference were: Asher Feucht, Westley Heiss, Parker Cushman Bogar, Grant Webb, Brandon Holderbaum, Solana Inzunza, Evan Weidner-Durst, Kadynce Scott, Bree Hendren.

The Lewiston Indian Education Parent Committee held a powwow to recognize and honor the LHS graduating class of 2025! Students were presented with stoles as well as a Nimiipuu dictionary.
Students in Mrs. Bramlet's and Mrs. Spears's Transitions classes had community businesses conduct mock interviews. Businesses included My Mechanic, Salvation Army, Voc Rehab, Blue Ribbon and Fur Family Cinema. LHS staff Devon McNare, Kiernan Garcia and counselor intern Daisy Bower also participated.
LHS students in careers class spent time at LCSC learning about HVAC, plumbing, and electrical careers.
