Nominations are open for the Lewiston School District 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year. Fellow teachers, school district employees, parents, students, and the general public are welcome to complete and return a nomination form. Attached is a nomination form for the Lewiston School District Teacher of the Year program. Additional nomination forms are available at each school and at the Central Services Office (3317 12th Street).
The timeline for the selection process is listed below. All forms must be returned to the Human Resources Office at Central Services by Friday, March 22, 2019.
January 14, 2019 NOMINATIONS OPEN: Forms available at each school and the Central Services Office.
March 22, 2019 NOMINATIONS CLOSE: Forms must be returned to the Central Services Office by 4:30 PM.
By April 19, 2019 SELECTIONS MADE: A review committee selects the Lewiston Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020, as well as an Outstanding Elementary Teacher and an Outstanding Secondary Teacher.
May 24, 2019 STATE APPLICATION DUE: Application due for the Idaho Teacher of the Year.
August 19, 2019 SELECTIONS ANNOUNCED: Selections are announced at the Teachers’ Back-to-School Assembly at LHS.
