OCTOBER 26, 2024 | 12-4 PM
Pumpkin Palooza in Downtown Lewiston is a free fall festival on the last Saturday in October from 12-4 PM. The event features games, crafts, a costume contest for humans and fur babies, and an artisan fair. Activities include pumpkin golfing, spooky tic-tac-toe, and the Great Pumpkin Roll, with chances to win $300 cash! The artisan market offers handmade products from local and regional small businesses. Here are some more details on what you can expect.
Harvest Fair & Carnival •
Main Street will be full of fun and free activities for kids of all ages! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we’ll have more games and activities than ever — everything from pumpkin golfing to spooky tic-tac-toe! Each will offer candy as well as non-candy prizes for every participant.
The Great Pumpkin Roll •
Roll a pumpkin down the 5th Street grade through a maze of hay bales, and if it ends up in the chute at the end you’re entered for a chance to win $300 cash!
Local & Handmade Market •
Be sure to visit the artisan market located between 3rd and 5th Streets for a variety of locally made products! Handmade soaps, beeswax candles, jewelry, and more will all be available to purchase something special for yourself or get a jumpstart on holiday shopping.
Costume Contest & Spooky Pooch Show •
Enter the costume contest in one of the six categories for the chance to win some great prizes! Our judges will select one winner from each category: Baby/Toddler, Child, Teen, and Adult. Sign-ups begin at noon at the costume contest booth located in Brackenbury Square, and the contest begins at 3:30 pm.
We’ll host a Spooky Pooch show and costume contest at 3:45 pm. Judges will select one winner to receive a prize bag filled with all kinds of goodies for your pup!
