Students are participating in the IditaRead Challenge, a reading program inspired by the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. As students read books, they move along checkpoints on the Iditarod trail from Anchorage to Nome, just like the mushers in the race.
So far, Whitman students have read 913 books during the challenge. Way to go, readers!
