Congratulations to Tasha Carper – Overall ESP (educational support personnel) of the Year Award Winner The following are excerpts from the nominations received for Tasha: -Tasha is an amazing person to get this award. Even if I didn’t believe in myself, she helped me to believe in myself; this is a very understanding, encouraging, witty, outgoing, super hero. -Her dedication, professionalism and positive attitude sets a standard of excellence within our school community and makes her an outstanding candidate for this recognition. -Her expertise is invaluable, especially when working with students who have social, emotional, and behavioral needs. -Tasha is creative and inventive and thinks outside the box. -She is the first intervention aide to be part of the PBIS team in the Lewiston School District. -Her impact on the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of the students is profound. -Many of the students look forward to working with her and often request to join her groups. Tasha is currently employed as an Intervention Tutor at Centennial Elementary School. She has been employed with the District since September 19, 2005.

The PTA Delivers Another Memorable Event The PTA has outdone itself once again! During the amazing Annual PTA Color Fun Run, a thrilling raffle was held with several exciting prizes. One of the students' favorites is the chance to throw a pie in the face of a chosen participant. This year, our principal, Courtney Kolb, stepped up to the challenge, taking on not just one, but multiple cream pies in succession! As shown in the picture, the students absolutely loved seeing the whipped cream splattered across her face. “Take that!”
