Today we celebrate the incredible people who keep our schools running smoothly every day. From secretaries and instructional assistants to custodians, bus drivers, food service teams, tech staff, and so many others, your work supports every student, every classroom, and every building.

We are hiring school bus drivers!
Why drive for ISD No. 1?
· Pay: $20.61 – $23.08 per hour
· Paid training provided – no prior experience required
· Meaningful work transporting and supporting our students
· Benefits: CDL training, competitive benefit plan including PERSI retirement, sick leave, holiday pay, a positive work environment, and the chance to make a daily difference in students’ lives
What does a school bus driver do?
Drivers safely transport students on daily routes and special events, ensure buses are in safe operating condition, and create a positive environment for students as they travel to and from school.
Requirements:
· At least 21 years of age
· Valid driver’s license and insurability
· Ability to obtain a CDL with school bus endorsement (training provided)
· Fingerprint/background clearance, DOT physical, and drug/alcohol testing clearance
