Miss Rachael and Miss Kendra’s 7th grade art classes at Sacajawea Middle School brought their creativity to life by designing their own puppets, so of course they had to put on a puppet show to show them off!

Our Hot Shots Give It a Shot winners for October are Kylea, Ryan, and Mrs. Van Zante. They read and rated books from the Sac Library that had never been read or hadn’t been read in a long time.

Mrs. Heath’s 8th grade students brought literature to life during a mock trial inspired by “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Using text evidence, they argued whether the narrator was guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity. ⚖️📚

Important meeting on Wednesday!
The Lewiston School District Indian Education Program & The Nez Perce Tribe would like to invite the community to the Spokane Ensemble Theatre production of "According to Coyote" by John Kauffman, in partnership with Red Eagle Soaring. This production, featuring Coyote, the legendary hero of American Indian mythology, is an encounter with the richness and vitality of Native American culture using age-old traditions of music, dance, and theatre. Directed by the playwright’s niece, Josephine Keefe, and performed by Nez Perce actor, Kellen Trenal, this one-man show is a testament to storytelling and family history.
Sacajawea Middle School 6th grade Foundations for Life students practiced their knife skills while making delicious fruit parfaits! Hands-on learning never tasted so good!
