The Lewiston School District Indian Education Program & The Nez Perce Tribe would like to invite the community to the Spokane Ensemble Theatre production of "According to Coyote" by John Kauffman, in partnership with Red Eagle Soaring. This production, featuring Coyote, the legendary hero of American Indian mythology, is an encounter with the richness and vitality of Native American culture using age-old traditions of music, dance, and theatre. Directed by the playwright’s niece, Josephine Keefe, and performed by Nez Perce actor, Kellen Trenal, this one-man show is a testament to storytelling and family history.

Why drive for ISD No. 1?
· Pay: $20.61 – $23.08 per hour
· Paid training provided – no prior experience required
· Meaningful work transporting and supporting our students
· Benefits: CDL training, competitive benefit plan including PERSI retirement, sick leave, holiday pay, a positive work environment, and the chance to make a daily difference in students’ lives

What does a school bus driver do?
Drivers safely transport students on daily routes and special events, ensure buses are in safe operating condition, and create a positive environment for students as they travel to and from school.
Requirements:
· At least 21 years of age
· Valid driver’s license and insurability
· Ability to obtain a CDL with school bus endorsement (training provided)
· Fingerprint/background clearance, DOT physical, and drug/alcohol testing clearance

Centennial Elementary, Jenifer Middle School, and L.I.F.E. (Lewiston Independent Foundation for Education) each received grants from the Nez Perce Tribe Local Education Fund.

Centennial’s grant will bring new instruments to the elementary music program.
Jenifer’s grant will support the “Where Everybody Belongs” (WEB) program, helping 6th graders feel connected and supported.
L.I.F.E.’s grant will support the 4th grade Hells Canyon River Trip.

We are very grateful for this support that invests in our students’ success!
