Our new Centennial third-grade teacher, Emma Delane, has launched an engaging class project
that encourages her students to reflect on their identities and aspirations for the future. This project serves as a wonderful opportunity to share their wishes and dreams, fostering a deeper understanding among classmates. By vocalizing their aspirations, students begin to envision them and can work towards making them a reality, boosting their self-esteem in the process.
Emma Delane is originally from Canada and has had the enriching experience of teaching in diverse countries such as China and Germany. She loves spending quality time outdoors with her family.
Students responded to fun "get to know you" questions such as:
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
What is your least favorite food?
How would you spend your day if you were stuck indoors?
What do you aspire to be when you grow up?
What is your favorite aspect of school?
