It is Spring Concert time! This concert featured the Orchards Elementary and McSorley Elementary bands, the Orchards Elementary choir, and it was the debut of the Orchards morning instrumental. All ensembles were directed by Jordan Berry.
Congratulations to Marjorie Blackwill – Direct ESP (educational support personnel ) of the Year Award Winner!

-The best part of Marjorie is her love for the students. It is apparent in every interaction that occurs. She is no pushover for sure, but she delivers even the most stringent reminder with love and gentleness.

-Marjorie goes above and beyond her job responsibilities each day, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
-Beyond her daily responsibilities, Marjorie effortlessly demonstrates leadership, kindness, and a true passion for students and staff, provides invaluable assistance, and contributes to support school culture making her a truly deserving candidate for this award.
-Beyond her exceptional work with students, Margie is a leader in her role. Colleagues look up to her for guidance, support and inspiration.
-She embodies the heart and soul of our school community.
-She is a shining example of the difference one person can make in lives of students and colleagues, and I can think of no one more deserving of this honor.
Marjorie is currently employed as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at McSorley Elementary School. She has been employed with the District since September 21, 2006.
