Bill

The Tigers Welcome a New Team Member

Bill Stevenson, a Ram currently working at Centennial Elementary, has joined the McSorley Tigers as their new computer technician. He will be dividing his time between both schools. Over the years, Bill has managed all devices at the elementary schools and provides support to the district's IT department. Additionally, he addresses the administrative needs at both elementary schools.

Originally from Santa Maria, California, Bill moved to the LC Valley to play baseball with the LC Warriors. He was part of the first two National Championship teams at Lewis Clark State in 1984 and 1985. After several years in professional baseball, Bill chose to volunteer and enlist in the U.S. Army, where he served for 11 years and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his military career, he relocated with his young family to Lewiston, Idaho, and returned to college to earn a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Bill began his professional journey teaching at a juvenile correction center in Lewiston before moving to a charter school in Reno, Nevada, where he taught sixth grade.

While in Reno, Bill’s family in Lewiston expanded, prompting him and his wife to return to the LC Valley, where they both work within the Lewiston School District. Now residing in Uniontown, Washington, Bill and his wife, Lisa, have three children and seven grandchildren. In his free time, Bill enjoys coaching baseball; he is involved with Lewiston High School, American Legion, and volunteers at Lewis Clark State.
