If you know an LHS student whose family is struggling financially this year and might need a little boost, please nominate them as an Angel Tree recipient. You can talk with a counselor, or scan one of the QR codes in the halls. You can also nominate yourself. Any student receiving an Angel Tree gift will remain anonymous. If you would like to buy a gift for the Angel Tree, new ornaments are going up every day. The purple and gold ornaments are student-specific and will go to an individual who requested this gift. The colorful ornaments will be used by the counselors for needs that come up during the Holidays and throughout the school year. Everything you need to participate can be found in the counseling center.
For anyone interested in track this year, there will be a short informational meeting in the auditorium next Tuesday, December 10th at 2:30.
Next week is Golden Throne week and that means Spirit Week. Monday will be “Christmas Morning” so wear your best and comfiest Christmas pjs. Tuesday is “Channel your Inner Flannel”, Wednesday is “Ugly Sweater”, Thursday is “Dress like your Hallway” and Friday is “All-Out Purple and Gold.” Make sure to show your Bengal pride and participate in the Golden Throne Spirit Days.
Next week Spirit Packs will be sold at both lunches: shirts for $10 and $15 for the whole pack. We will also be selling Spirit Beads for rock paper scissors necklaces.
