Congratulations to the girls Varsity soccer team for placing third at state and for winning the sportsmanship award! This is the first time in Bengal history that the girls soccer team has brought not one but TWO trophies back from State.
The annual College Fair is tonight. It is open to all grades and families. There are 38 colleges attending so come and explore all the opportunities and chances to win some big prizes.
Tomorrow we are running a Pep Assembly Schedule and will follow the below pep schedule. The assembly is in the auditorium and the speaker is going to be conducted by our own SOVA group (Students of the Valley Advocates), along with Iuri Melo, a Licensed Therapist for over 20 years and co-founder of School Pulse, is coming to our district on October 29th to present on Positive Psychology and provide an introduction to the SOVA (Students of the Valley Advocacy) student group. SOVA is a group of students from Asotin, Clarkston, and Lewiston who meet on a monthly basis to focus on key issues such as mental health, reaching all students, increasing student involvement and a community focus from the student population. SOVA works towards promoting prevention through connection and positivity.
The Bengal Mathletes will be meeting starting this Thursday and every Thursday from 2:30-3:15 in Mrs. Carlson’s room. Please come to have some snacks, challenge your math skills, and prepare for the spring University of Idaho Math Competition.
Wrestlers, open mats will now run from 3:30-4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please also make sure to get cleared so that you are ready for the first day of practice on November 18th. If you are not cleared you will not be allowed into practice on the 18th.
