Are you interested in going to Ireland, Scotland and England in the summer of 2026? Stop by Mr. Autrey’s room (ST 213) or Ms. Strolberg’s Room (ST 203) for more details. There will be a parent informational meeting on Tuesday September 17 at 6pm in Mr. Autrey’s room.


The Women’s Empowerment Club will meet on Tuesday morning at 7:30 in ST 205, Mrs. Bakker’s room. The club’s mission is to create life-long experiences and habits for young people that will prepare them for the future world. Join us to discuss upcoming events. ALL are welcome!


The Art Club will be holding its first meeting on Thursday the 19th at 2:30 in room CW100. The Art Club provides a space for anyone interested in the visual arts to develop new skills and techniques while also collaborating with other like-minded folks. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and explore new ways of making.


The Gay Straight Alliance or GSA club will be holding its first meeting on Tuesday the 17th at 2:30 in room CW 100. The GSA club is an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students and their allies to meet, speak to the issues of the day, and create a stronger community by working together.


If you are interested in joining the Youth Bowling League, sign-ups will start next week. The first practice will be Wednesday, 9/18 at 4:00pm at Orchard Lanes. We will meet every Wednesday at 4 for 10 weeks.


Are you interested in participating in sword duels? The first meeting of the LHS Fencing Club will be on Wednesday, September 18th. The club will feature instruction on both fencing and longsword fighting techniques, as well as one-on-one student duels. This first meeting is very important in order to figure out schedules, so please show up.


Auditions for LHS Drama Club’s fall play Much Ado About Nothing will be held Thursday, September 19th, after school in the auditorium. For schedule conflicts, please contact Mrs. Syverson or a Drama Club officer prior to auditions.


Any student interested in participating in the LHS Mock Trial Club please come and see Mr. Wessels in ST212 this week. Our Mock Trial team is coached by local attorneys and is a great opportunity for any student interested in a future studying or practicing law. Participation in Mock Trial looks great on college scholarships, and seniors are eligible for a scholarship from the Idaho Bar Association. There are positions for attorneys, witnesses, timekeepers, journalists, and even courtroom artists. For those who would like to learn more come by ST212 and talk with Mr. Wessels. There will be an informational meeting with our attorney coaches at a later date, but come sign up so you don’t miss out.


This week Bengal athletics are busy once again. On Tuesday the JV and Varsity Girls soccer team will be playing moscow at 4:30 on walker field and The JV2 volleyball team will be playing at 4pm, JV volleyball will be playing at 5:30 and varsity volleyball will be at 7pm. The theme for the volleyball games will be Beach Night. On Thursday the JV and Varsity girls soccer team will be playing CDA on walker field at 4:30 and will be playing clarkston on saturday at 12. Come out to all the Bengal athletics and show your support.


Seniors that need to get your 2nd Meningococcal vaccination-remember the deadline is 9/21. This is a STATE REQUIREMENT.
