It’s time to announce February’s Teacher of the month! Thank you for submitting your nominations. This teacher will receive a bookmark and certificate, and they will get to park in the Teacher of the Month parking space. A special thanks to Northwest Engraving Services for sponsoring this month’s Heart of a Bengal. Here are some quotes from the nominations: “I know I am in a safe and comfortable environment when around this teacher. They love to incorporate authentic stories into class, making even the worst of us pay attention and listen.” “She supports her students as if they were her own children, and is clearly passionate about teaching her students the importance of understanding the people and world around them. She has dedicated all she has to those around her and is inspiring in every way a hero could be. She has the heart of a fierce tigress, which I believe is perfectly representative of the Heart of a Bengal.”
The March Heart of the Bengal Award goes to… Cynthia Yarno! Congratulations Ms. Yarno!
We would also like to take a minute to wish a belated Happy Birthday to our principal Mr. Driskill!
