Today for lunch there will be biscuits and gravy, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, and big daddy pizza.

If you are taking Elementary IOT second semester, you must come to the library during your IOT class block to get set up for the new semester.

Seniors – this week U of I will be visiting on the 24th to discuss housing, scholarships, and FAFSA financial aid. LCSC will visit on the 25th for scholarships and FAFSA. Come to the counseling center to sign up for either of these events.

All students who dropped a dual credit year-long class for second semester: you must withdraw from the college portion too. Please see Mrs. Wilmore  in the career center to do the necessary paperwork.

Interested in trying out for tennis? There will be a brief meeting in BR203 after school on Thursday.

Over the weekend the wrestling team hosted the Clearwater Classic wrestling tournament. The Bengals took 2nd place out of 18 teams, highlighted by Joely Slyter, Hoyt Hvass, Brenden Thill and Rob Storm all claiming gold medals as well as Cole Lockart claiming a bronze medal. Hvass and Storm both claimed Outstanding Wrestler awards for the tournament as well. Up next, Senior Night is THIS Wednesday with JV starting at 6 and Varsity at 7. Come pack the house as we battle the Clarkston Bantams for the Golden Plunger!

Congratulations to Trista Smalley for his performance at model un this past week. Tristan was awarded the best position paper out of 14 schools and over 200 students for his report on improving education from  Israel’s perspective.

Today at both lunches there will be a car smash in the parking lot. It will be two dollars a hit, don’t miss out. All proceeds will go to golden throne charities. 

This week will be a spirit week leading up to golden throne this Friday at LCSC. Today is Black belt day, so we can’t wait to see all your black and white. Tomorrow is Hats vs sunglasses. Thursday is farm the barnyard day so wear your best farmer attire. And Friday will be all out  bengal pride.

Leadership will be selling spirit packs this week including this year’s golden throne shirt designed by emma cuddy, thunder sticks, and a headband. Be sure to pick yours up asap as there are only 300 packs including thundersticks and they will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Tickets or golden throne will be sold separately for 5 dollars through 3 on friday.

Lastly, tonight will be the powderpuff volleyball game. It is seniors vs juniors and entry will be by donation with all proceeds going towards golden throne.
