Schedule change requests for second semester can be made this week. Complete a schedule change request form, including the class you want to drop and the class you want to add, and make sure a parent signs it. There is also a list of available classes on the back of the sheet. If you need to visit with your counselor about your schedule, you can say so your form, and your counselor will call for you.
The first meeting of the Native American Culture Club will be Friday after school, in room LS109. Treats will be provided.
If you are taking Elementary IOT second semester, you must come to the library next week during your IOT class block to get set up for the new semester.
Safe and Sober has a great opportunity to sell concessions at the Clearwater wrestling tournament this weekend at LHS. If you can volunteer some time, it will benefit the senior graduation party greatly. Seniors will receive volunteer hours for raffle tickets to be used at the party (whether the senior or family members volunteer).
If you have applied to a college, university, or trade school for fall 2023, please contact the school you applied to, and ask if they need a 7th semester transcript. If so, please see Mrs. Kerns in the Counseling Center.
The Auto Club will be meeting this Saturday 8 to 12.
Seniors – two submission forms have been sent to your student email from 5-Star Students. One form includes voting for senior superlatives and the other for teacher elites for this year’s yearbook. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to vote. Surveys will close on Friday.
Next week is Golden Throne! All next week we will be raising money for charity. Each milestone we meet will correlate to an exciting incentive at Friday’s Golden Throne assembly. The assembly will include auctions for court-side tickets, the Steele Selfie, and other items. Also enjoy chicken-poop bingo, a dunk contest, a dance-off, and more! Leadership will be selling spirit packs starting next week including this year’s Golden Throne shirt (designed by Emma Cuddy), thunder sticks, and a headband. Be sure to pick yours up to show your school spirit at Friday’s game.
