Today for lunch there will be spicy Asian chicken, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, and big daddy pizza.

The Key Club will be having a bake sale at lunch on Friday.

Juniors – The SAT will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 8am here at LHS. Registration for the SAT is taking place this week, and the last day to sign up will be this Friday, January 13, 2023 by the end of the school day. If you would like to take advantage of this educational opportunity please go to the Counseling Center or see Mrs. Hobson to get signed up.

Seniors – the Idaho Department of Lands is looking for help for this summer’s fire season, especially students who will graduate this year. They have jobs ranging from firefighters to resource aids. Interested students can scan the QR code or see Mr. Schaper for more information.

Are you interested in going to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the summer of 2024? Come by Mr. Autrey’s room in ST213 after school today for a brief informational meeting!

Mrs. Feucht’s Economics classes participated in the Stock Market Game this semester for 10 weeks. 438 teams from across the state of Idaho participated.  LHS had 6 teams finish in the top 10! Finishing 9th in the state: Noah Carpenter & Jeremy Yoder. 8th in the state: Dwight Vargas. 4th in the state: Kaleb Doty, Tim Fortson, and Gabe Mettling-Perry. 3rd in the state: Brenden Lessor, making $21, 317.25. 2nd in the state: Brianna Kimble making $21, 836.12. AND 1st in the state of Idaho making $22,965.34 in 10 weeks: Reed DuPont and Shawn Brixen.

Last night the wrestling team faced off against the Moscow Bears. The Bengals had a great night, defeating the Bears 69-12. Great job Bengals! This weekend the team faces three different tournaments. The girls wrestling team heads down to Columbia High School, Junior Varsity goes to Orofino, and Varsity heads up to Post Falls.

Attention all students: if you are interested in participating in the Golden Throne Halftime performance we are looking for people who have karate or acrobatic skills, but we would love to have anyone. We will be practicing Saturday 14th 8am-9am and Monday 16th 2pm-3pm at the school so meet at the gym entrance. Please try and make it to at least one of these practices if you are interested. If you can not attend, let an ASB representative know that you are interested. 

The theme for tonight’s Varsity basketball games will be “white out.”
