On Friday, April 10th at 8:20 pm, to honor the LHS senior class, families, coaches, spring sports athletes and activity participants and directors, we will turn the lights on at Bengal Field in Lewiston for 20 minutes. The lights are a beacon to show we are thinking of them and to remind them there will be a time where we will be all together again.
We would ask and encourage that we maintain social distancing protocol. Students/parents will be able to drive by and possibly take a photo to share out. Bengal Field and facility within will be locked and entrance to facility will not be available. Also, the parking lots adjacent to field (Jenifer JH parking lots) will not be available. Our hopes are that students and family members can safely view and appreciate while still following social distancing guidelines and/or protocol.
This will be going on all over the state. If students/parents take photos, they can use the hashtag #BeTheLightID for Idaho. They can then share with friends and relatives.
LHS Administration will be on site during this event.
Students.. We are thinking of you, we miss your presence, and together we will get through this and come out stronger and more resilient than ever!!!
