News from the Library

Family Reading Week is November 12th through the 18th.  The American Academy of Pediatrics has said, “Parents who spend time reading to their children create nurturing relationships, which is important for a child’s cognitive, language and social-emotional development”.  What better reason is needed to celebrate the week!

We are very pleased to announce that the Lewiston School District has recently purchased a subscription for Tumblebooks which can be found on all of our school library websites and is available for use by our families.  You can access them by going to and clicking on schools in the upper right hand corner.  Find Camelot and click on Library.  Tumblebooks consists of animated, talking picture books, story books, puzzles, games, audiobooks, and books in other languages that would be perfect to share with your child during Family Reading Week or at anytime throughout the year.

We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful and fun educational resource provided by our school district.
