R3 Day of Learning with Baruti Kafele

On October 5th the Lewiston School District offered their first, “R3 Day of Learning” which was a district wide professional development day full of sessions that focused on effective classroom and school leadership strategies. The day started with a Keynote from Principal Baruti Kafele!

Principal Kafele is the author of The Principal 50, The Teacher 50 as well as Closing the Attitude Gap, and more. According to his website:

School Bond Levy

On March 14, 2017, the residents of the Lewiston School District voted to approve a bond levy to build a new high school in the Lewiston Orchards with a 75% voter approval. This levy will provide the funding to build a new comprehensive grades 9-12 high school.
